PRODUCT MANAGER – Connected Home Experience

At HOMMA, we’re on mission to update the home living experience. We’re revitalizing an outdated and complicated industry, while crafting a more comfortable feeling of being home. Life at home is always changing so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect people’s sense of well-being every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch. You can break down complex problems into a roadmap that will drive product development at speed.

Our diverse team works closely with prolific engineers, creative designers, and innovative architects to help develop technologies that improve our quality of life at home. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our residents.

As a Product Manager, you will help develop products on our core platform that orchestrates technology throughout the entire home. You will also work closely with our team to research and define future home feature sets and identify key business opportunities within the smart home market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Discover and define the right problems and products to pursue through specifying market requirements and research.

  • Develop business requirements and user stories for current and future products.

  • Work closely with engineering, UX, and leadership to deliver products on time with quality.

  • Manage prioritization among features and enhancements to align them with the product vision.

  • Proactively resolve strategic or tactical issues that may impact the team’s ability to meet goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experienced, with a proven track record of aligning teams and prioritizing features/resources to deliver an excellent product. With 5-7 years of product management experience.

  • Passionate, about understanding users and bringing delight to resident's life through architecture, design, and technology.

  • Communicator, with strong writing/verbal skills with ability to convey ideas through detailed specification and wireframes.

  • Problem solver, who possesses a highly tuned thought process that yields creative solutions to tough challenges.

  • Self starter, with a high degree of self direction and independent drive.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working with third-party partners.

  • Experience shipping technology products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced technical degree.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams.

  • Solutions-oriented with excellent track record at Fortune 500 company.
